Kalaya did so well with her stitches, no pulling or picking. She seemed to barely notice them. Thankfully her lip has healed quite nicely. When you look close, you can still see a faint line, but it's not obvious, and hopefully will continue to fade with time. We just got the confirmation that her dental xrays were also clean of any fractures. Yay! Although she wasn't completely unscathed... her front upper right tooth had some residual bleeding into the enamel and has discolored slightly. At first I was frightened, because it started to look like a "dead" tooth, but it only changed in those first few days, and hasn't seemed to change anymore. Although the dentist believes it will continue to darken in the next few months. I hope not...
